Internship Invite: Party with a Purpose Who: Socolite | A Socially Conscious Lifestyle for a Better World News & Networking for Social Action Socolite (www.socolite.com) is committed to providing a platform for all things socially conscious (i.e. fundraisers, businesses with benevolent agendas, non-profits, green-living initiatives etc.). What: Applicants should be excellent writers, comfortable networking for a cause, and excited to promote philanthropy. Interns will assist in on-site reporting from events/interviews, write articles on Socolite-approved businesses and events, assist in planning and running events, and create marketing pieces. Writing assignments may include volunteering for a charity event and reporting about it. Applicants must have a strong interest in attending charity events, and some availability to attend weekend/early evening events. We are looking for organized, dependable, enthusiastic, self-starters who are socially conscious. When: We’re seeking to fill this position immediately, and applicants should be available approximately 20 hours/week. Where: NYC area. Why: Attend exciting events with inspiring philanthropic leaders, and see your work published on the site with byline. We’ll also work with your school to provide you with school credit.
